1. Scope
This policy applies to the dBias website, subscriber account, and Telegram bot. In this policy, “Meshh,” “we,” and “us” refer to the operator of dBias.
dBias is a one-way macro commentary service. It analyzes public posts from selected X accounts and sends aggregate summaries to subscribers.
2. Information we collect
Account information
When you use Google to sign in, we may receive your name, email address, profile image, and Google account identifier. We do not receive your Google password.
Telegram information
When you connect the dBias bot, we store the Telegram chat identifier, Telegram username when available, connection token, and connection time needed to deliver your notes. The bot processes the connection command you send. It does not use your private Telegram messages to create macro summaries.
Billing information
We store your Stripe customer identifier, subscription status, plan, and billing-event records. Stripe collects and processes your payment card details. dBias does not store complete card numbers.
Public X content
We collect public post text, post and account identifiers, usernames, timestamps, links, and public engagement counts from selected X accounts through the X API. This source content is not collected from your personal X account.
Technical information
We may process IP addresses, browser information, request times, session cookies, error records, and security logs needed to operate and protect the service.
3. How we use information
We use information to:
- create and secure your dBias account;
- manage trials, subscriptions, and billing;
- connect your Telegram account and deliver requested notes;
- collect and analyze public macro commentary;
- summarize the Current narrative and calculate coverage statistics;
- monitor reliability, prevent abuse, and resolve errors;
- respond to support, privacy, and content-removal requests; and
- meet legal and platform obligations.
Depending on where you live, we process this information to perform our contract with you, with your consent, for legitimate service and security interests, or to meet a legal obligation.
4. Service providers
dBias uses service providers to operate the product. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies:
- Google provides account authentication.
- X provides public posts and account data through its API.
- OpenAI processes source commentary to produce analysis.
- Telegram delivers notes and connection events.
- Stripe processes subscriptions and payments.
- Cloudflare provides application hosting, queues, and storage.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
5. AI processing
dBias sends selected public X commentary to the OpenAI API. The purpose is to identify the current narrative and its supporting Evidence. dBias does not use X content to train or fine-tune a foundation model.
AI output can be incomplete or incorrect. dBias uses it as an information summary, not as a source of personalized financial advice.
6. Retention and deletion
We keep account and subscription records while your account is active and for the additional period needed for billing, security, disputes, and legal obligations. We keep public X content and derived analysis only while needed for source processing, Evidence, platform compliance, and service records.
Disconnecting Telegram removes the active chat identifier and username from your delivery connection. You may also ask us to delete your account data. Some billing, security, or legal records may remain when the law or a legitimate dispute requires them.
We will remove or modify stored X content after a valid request from X or the applicable account owner, or when otherwise required by law or our agreement with X.
7. Your choices and rights
You can:
- disconnect Telegram in your dBias settings;
- cancel or manage billing through the Stripe billing portal;
- stop using the service;
- ask for access, correction, or deletion of your account data; and
- object to or restrict processing where local law provides that right.
We may need to verify your identity before completing a privacy request.
8. Security and international transfers
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards. No system is completely secure, and we cannot promise absolute security.
Our providers may process information in Japan, the United States, and other countries. Those countries may have different data-protection laws from your country. We use provider contracts and other safeguards where applicable.
9. Children
dBias is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Changes and contact
We may update this policy when the service or applicable requirements change. We will change the effective date and provide additional notice when required.
